​1st Place in Burglary and DV Competition

NEW YORK — Congratulations to HSI Explorer Post 601 Competition Detail, who placed 1st in Burglary in Progress and 1st in Domestic Violence at the 2022 Law Enforcement Exploring Fall Competition!

On November 5th, our competition detail was invited to the 2022 Law Enforcement Exploring Fall Competition at New York Presbyterian Church. Our detail competed against Explorer Posts from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), New York City Police Department (NYPD), Metropolitan Transportation Authority Police Department (MTAPD), and Nassau County Police Department (NCPD).

The detail placed 1st in Burglary in Progress and 1st in Domestic Violence scenarios. Thanks to HSI special agents, HSI Special Response Team (SRT), and former Explorers who provided training to the competition detail. Explorers continue to practice for upcoming competitions. The detail continues to represent the HSI New York family!
