HSI Wins 1st and 3rd Place at the Nassau Invitational

NEW YORK — Congratulations to HSI Explorer Post 601 and Post 245 Competition Details, who placed 1st in White Collar and 3rd in Burglary in Progress and Officer Down at the 2025 Nassau County Law Enforcement Exploring Invitational!
On June 23rd, 2025, members of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Explorer Posts 601 and 245 proudly represented the HSI Explorer Program at the 2025 Nassau County Law Enforcement Exploring Invitational, held at the Nassau County Police Department’s Center for Training & Intelligence. Competing alongside agencies such as the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), New York City Police Department (NYPD), Metropolitan Transportation Authority Police Department (MTAPD), Nassau County Police Department (NCPD), and Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), our Explorers demonstrated professionalism, teamwork, and dedication across a range of scenarios.
HSI Post 601 earned 1st place in the White Collar scenario with a perfect score, while Post 245 placed 3rd in both Burglary in Progress and Emergency First Aid / Officer Down scenarios. These accomplishments reflect the extensive preparation and commitment of the Explorers, as well as the invaluable support of assistant advisors who contributed their time and expertise. As our teams continue to train for future events, they remain steadfast in their mission to represent the HSI New York family with integrity, excellence, and pride.
HSI New York's Explorer Post 601 is a youth program dedicated to introducing youths to potential careers in federal law enforcement. Through this program, participants gain hands-on training, develop leadership skills, and engage in various community service activities, fostering personal and professional growth.
